... Greg Mathieson must be Faith's newest studio 'album'/CD "record'g" player - last i heard Stevie Hornbeek was still her tour'g/road keyboardist & arranger, unless he's been replaced w/ Greg....
Yessir, das' da troof. A old friend of mine is play'g w/ 1 o those "hi-prof, burnin-up-the-charts" major country artists, & aft. 3 yrs. there he is still tryin 2 talk himself onto @ least 1 cut on an album/CD, but even he says that's like tryin to swim upstream against the school o fish. But he IS glad he simply has the [road] gig.
1 exception, tho, would be Charlie Daniels' Band present drummer Pat McDonald. He is on Charlie's latest 3 or 4 releases AWA on the road w/ him [he is a fine player; attended Berklee AWA priv. studies w/ GChaffee, & arguably the best player in the band; not that the other guys can't play!]. Charlie is a great guy who I hear treats his players well & is known 2 be his own man when it comes 2 the system.
